THRILLERFEST V
New York City, Grand Hyatt Hotel
http://www.thrillerfest.org
As chairman of ThrillerFest and director of AgentFest, I’ll be appearing at events throughout this grand festival that celebrates thrillers and its authors and fans. Please stop me and say hello, I’d genuinely like to meet you.
October 14-17, 2010
BOUCHERCON ON THE BAY
San Francisco, Hyatt Regency Embarcadero Center
http://www.bouchercon.com
Bouchercon is the world’s biggest general mystery conference, and a show you simply shouldn’t miss. If you can’t do San Francisco this year, don’t worry—it’s in St. Louis in 2011.
November 12-13, 2010
MURDER AND MAYHEM IN MUSKEGO
Muskego, WI, Public Library
http://www.murderandmayheminmuskego.com
This event will be held at this Milwaukee suburb’s public library, a handsome physical facility with very gracious hosts. (I had a signing there once, and it turned into one of my favorites).

MEN OF MYSTERY
Irvine (Orange County), CA, Irvine Marriott
http://64.23.9.69/mom
With 50 authors, 500 attendees, and a truly lovely person in the form of organizer Joan Hansen, this is my single favorite single-day book conference. I had to miss 2009 because of the flu—drat!—but will be there in 2010 if I have to drag an oxygen tank.
